I did have the system operating very nicely. However, now when you click to start the order process, which takes you to display_cart.html, it turns up blank.

I cannot think of anything that I have changed.

You can see the site at: http://www.adventistsaffirm.org/store/html

Thanks

I took a look at your site and noticed that on your uShopOrderButton applet and your uShopInput4 applet you currently have the CODEBASE set to:

codebase="../classes"

Because of how some browsers interpret the codebase, you should really have that last forward slash... to match the default CODEBASE and to match the codebase that you are using in your small shopping cart applet. So change the codebase of those two applets to:

codebase="../classes/"

As for what is actually causing the problem with the display_cart page, I noticed that you also set the special "codebase" parameter in your uShopOrderButton applet to:

http://www.adventistsaffirm.org/store/classes

That codebase too should match all of your other codebases... and MOST IMPORTANTLY... that special "codebase" parameter needs the final forward slash on it.

So to correct the problem, change your "codebase" param of your uShopOrderButton applet to:

../classes/

Or, since "../classes/" is the default codebase, you can actually just delete the "codebase" param line from your uShopOrderButton applet.

Color me a brilliant shade of "embarassment" red!

I *knew* that I had tried it with the codebase as you stated it must be, which, by the way, is also the way the reference material says it must be.

But, I believe I know what happened.

I "built" the store with the minimal amount of files to get it working. At some time *after* it was working, I removed the trailing slash on one applet. I then copied that applet for all the other store pages.

When you stated that the trailing slash was missing, I performed a replace function on the entire directory containing 36 files. I believe that 34 of them contained an applet.

The replace function made 31 replacements. Therefore, there could have been certain combinations which would have produced the correct response. Hence, "Now you see 'em, now you don't."

Thanks for your patience, especially since the answer was in the manual. Gives new meaning to RTFM -- Read the Find Manual.

Again, thanks.

Lawrence
