|I'm not sure if I totally understand the problem.... Are you saying that all of the order steps work properly except no emails are ever being sent?|
What type of server do you have? Unix or NT server?
If using a Unix server, what type of email method are you trying? Have you tried "SENDMAIL" on your Unix server? "SENDMAIL" pretty much always works on Unix servers.
If using an NT server, have you tried the "SOCKETS" email method? If that isn't working, then what other email utilities are available on your NT server? The NT email utility "BLAT" is a standard option that you can try if your server supports "BLAT". Otherwise, we have various other versions of the script that use such utilities as "WindMail", "Mail::Sender", and a couple others. So if there is some other email utility that is available to CGI scripts on your NT server, send us a support request and we may be able to help.

|Im running NT server 4.0.I found that the orders are not being created. The scripts all run error free.Still no mail is sent because no order is created.Everything runs like it should minus the order creation in the data directory.Any thoughts?

|Hmmmm... if no order file is being created... and you are not seeing any "Unable to Open" error messages... then it really sounds like the "script_url" parameter of your uShopOrderButton applet may be incorrect. So double-check your "script_url" parameter of your uShopOrderButton applet and make sure it is pointing to the correct script on your server.|
If that doesn't resolve the problem, use the control panel to generate a Diagnostic Report and email me the results at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'll take a look at them.
