"percentage correct applet"

hi.
i am using utest to create tests for an insurance school that i work for. i have a question about an applet that i feel would be helpful, but don't know how to create it. please help.

The applet is basically a percentage correct applet. it appears at the top or bottom of the test sheet and tells you what the percentage of correct answers for the entire test is. if the next button applet is used, then the percentage would change with every new question, if another applet is used, then the percentage could be given either during the test, or after the test is completed (as part of the answer sheet).

please let me know if something like this can be done, ans where to look for it. any and all help is greatly appreciated.

thanks
rich

Unfortunately, uTest is really not setup to handle that at this time, but it could technically be done with the use of uTest's JavaScript API.

What you would need to do is write a JavaScript function that gets called via the page's "onLoad" call and which utilizes uTest's "getAnswer()" JavaScript API function to iterate through all answers and determine the percent correct. In fact, it may not be that difficult to do... just a simple "for" statement... however, it would have to be specific to the answers on your specific test.

Refer to the uTest Programmer's Guide for more information about writing JavaScripts that interface with uTest:

If you do try this and you need any assistance, just let me know.
