"Members database and shipping options"

1) It would be great to have a members database, so after you register you don't need to fill in all your details (address, phone...).

2) There should be an way to select different shipping options, that have different rates.
For example:
Ground Mail - $3
Air Mail - $5

In regard to your suggestions:

1) In the latest version of uStorekeeper ( Version 1.81 as listed at http://www.uburst.com/uStorekeeper/updates.html ), we have added the ability to "remember" the customer's billing and shipping address via cookies. So as long as they don't clear their cookies, they won't have to fill in all of the details each time they place an order.

2) uStorekeeper does allow you to configure up to 5 different shipping options. See section 6.1.7 in the User's Guide:

http://www.uburst.com/uStorekeeper/UsersGuide.html

And/or log into to the demo control panel at:

http://www.uburst.com/uStorekeeper/demos.html

... and check out "GENERAL SETTINGS - SHIPPING INFORMATION".

1) The cookie option is nice and useful, but it would still be nice to be able to manage a user database. It would be much more professional for the store owner.
I understand if it's too "high end", and not really needed for small stores...

2) My mistake, I was using the demo from the user view and didn't see the option.

Thanks!

Daniel

A more sophisticated "customer database" does start getting to be a little too "high end" for uStorekeeper.... but we do still have it listed on our "Future Feature Wish List"... so I would never say never. It's just probably won't be implemented in the near future.
