"Javascript use."

IS it feasable to include a javascript calculator in an order page to calculate price where the product is sold by the pound on a sliding scale where the price per pound drops as the buyer orders more product by weight? We have the script written to provide these calculations in a form using FORMAIL to send the order but our client wants to have this option built into the actual cart. The script works stand-alone and is not dependant on the FORMAIL to function.
Suggestions anyone. please email me. paul@webevo.com.

So basically you want the price of the product to be dependent on the the total pounds of the product purchased? If so, could you just use uStorekeeper's quantity@price option (described in section 6.5.9 of the uStorekeeper User's Guide: http://www.uburst.com/uStorekeeper/UsersGuide.html ) ... and have the user enter the quantity as the number of pounds needed?

Otherwise, without modifying the uStorekeeper script itself to output your JavaScript (which would become quite involved) ... there really isn't a way to "elegantly" tie the JavaScript output into the price of the product. As a work around, you could try putting your JavaScript in the "Additional HTML" field of the product... and then add instructions to enter the calculated quantity/price into the product form in QUOTE format (also described in that section of the User's Guide).
