"CGI-ERROR"
Posted by Adrian on Jul-25-00 at 01:24 PM (EST)
I keep getting this following error:
CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers. The headers it did return are:

Can't locate ustorekeeper-manager.pl in @INC (@INC contains: C:/Perl/lib C:/Perl/site/lib .) at D:\63.94.16.60\cgi-bin\ustorekeeper-manager.pl line 2.

Have anyone received this

Are you sure the message isn't saying:

"Can't locate ustorekeeper-lib.pl"

instead of

"Can't locate ustorekeeper-manager.pl"?

I ask this because everything else sounds exactly like the problem (and solution) described at:

http://www.uburst.com/uStorekeeper/troubleshooting.html#CANTLOCATE

That is, due to the search path on the server, the server is not finding the "ustorekeeper-lib.pl" file. So the solution is to use the full path to that file as described in the above troubleshooting link.

So double-check if the error message is actually talking about not finding the "ustorekeeper-lib.pl" file - which is specified on "line 2" of the scripts - and if so, see the above troubleshooting link. Otherwise, let me know and we see what else we can try.

I followed the instructions and it is still saying: Can't locate d:/scriptmasterfilms.com/cgi-bin/ustorekeeper-lib.pl in @INC (@INC contains: C:/Perl/lib C:/Perl/site/lib .) at D:\63.94.16.60\cgi-bin\ustorekeeper-manager.pl line 2.

I substituted the following code:
"D:/www/yourdomain/cgi-bin/ustorekeeper-lib.pl";

(I entered exactly what was advised. I just substituted the domain name)

So the error is that it can't find the ustorekeeper-lib.pl file.

Therefore, the solution, as described at:

http://www.uburst.com/uStorekeeper/troubleshooting.html#CANTLOCATE

Is to use the FULL DIRECTORY PATH to your file.

The full directory path, however, will be different on all servers, so:

d:/scriptmasterfilms.com/cgi-bin/ustorekeeper-lib.pl

may not be the correct full directory path on your server. I would suggest asking you web hosting provider in order to find out how to access your directory via a full directory path.

I had the same problem on an NT Server. I resolved it by changing all the scripts from .pl to .cgi and changing the appropriate settings in ustorekeeper-lib.cgi (remember the .cgi).
