Are you referring to the "Back" button on the first "Review Cart" page not working? And are you using the an IE browser with the Java plugin?

If so, then that is something that we resolved in the 5/25/2002 update at:

http://www.uburst.com/uShop/updates.html

The easiest way to correct the problem is to just use the new "back_url" parameter of the uShopOrderButton applet to specify the URL that you want the "Back" button to link to.

Or, as a slightly more difficult option, if you want the "Back" button to automatically link users to the previous page that they were looking at, then you will have to make a few changes to your "Place Order" page. In particular, you'll need to:

1) Add an onLoad call to checkBrowserType() to the BODY line of "Place Order Page".

2) Add the "CheckBrowserType()" JavaScript function to the "Place Order Page".

3) Add the uShopJSI interface applet to the "Place Order Page".

You can see how to implement all three of these changes by taking a look at the "demo_order.html" page that is included with uShop 3.50.

Note that this new "CheckBrowserType" JavaScript function had to be added since Java has no way of determing the browser type. Java use to be able to rely on the "java.vender" property, but now that browsers can be using different Java plug-ins from different Java venderers, the browser type has to be determined by JavaScript... and then passed to the Java. It's actually pretty easy to implement if you look at the "demo_order.html" page.

Note also, that if you have multiple HTML pages with the uShopOrderButton applet on them, then you would probably just want to add the above CheckBrowserType() modification to a common "Enter" page in your store.... so that you don't have to add it to every possible page with the uShopOrderButton applet on them.

But again, if you don't want to make the "CheckBrowserType()" modifications, then just use the new "back_url" parameter.
