"printout of order from order reader is too small"

On screen the order generated by the order reader is fine but when it prints it reduces to such a small size it is almost unreadable without a magnifiying glass (which we have now bought!)

How can I fix this?

thx

There is no simple built-in feature for adjusting the font size of the Order Reader page, but here are some instructions to make a quick change to the ushop_cgiscript.pl file:

1. Open the "ushop_cgiscript.pl" file with any text editor such as Word Pad or NotePad.

2. Do a search on "sub show_file". This will get you to the beginning of the "show_file" subroutine which handles displaying the order reader file.

3. About 35 lines into that subroutine, you will see a line with the following:

font color=black face=courier size=2

(The line actually starts with a "print" statement, but because this forum doesn't allow you to post greater-than and less-than signs, I didn't bother putting the whole line).

4. In that line, try changing the "size=2" to "size=3".

5. Save the file (as "text" if your editor asks).

And try it out!

The font should appear (and print) larger.
