"Can you remove the Back button from the cart Template Page?"

After you press the Begin Order Process buton we have the secure side come up in a new window and so have no need for the back button (on the page where the 2 display cart templates are used) on the first cart.

Can we remove it? but still keep the continue button.

Thanks in advance

Unfortunately, there is no way to remove that "Back" button entirely from the first "Review Cart" page... but you could perhaps change it to something else. That is, the uShopOrderButton applet has a "back_button_label" parameter by which you can change the label from "Back" to something else.... and a "back_url" parameter by which you can change the URL that the button links to.

So as an example, maybe you could set those parameters in the uShopOrderButton applet to something like this:

< PARAM NAME="back_button_label" VALUE="Specials" >
< PARAM NAME="back_url" VALUE="http://www.yourdomain.com/specials.html" >

OR

< PARAM NAME="back_button_label" VALUE="Help" >
< PARAM NAME="back_url" VALUE="http://www.yourdomain.com/help.html" >

Thanks Bill that's helpful,

is there any way that we can instead of having the button link to a page, have it so that when the user clicks on the button have the window CLOSE?

Thanks in advance

Les

You can try setting the "back_url" to it to "');window.close();('" ....which does look weird, but should give you the effect you are looking for:

< PARAM NAME="back_button_label" VALUE="Close Window" >
< PARAM NAME="back_url" VALUE="');window.close();('" >
