How would I go about integrating Ushop to use some kind of Credit Card Verification System?
Alternatively, how can I get the following information in some kind delimited file?
OrderNumber
credit card name - Name on credit card
Credit Card number
Credit card expiry

Hello Charles,

uShop itself (with the "Credit Card" option) does a basic credit card validation, it performs the validation based on the credit card type, the credit card number prefix, the number of characters in the credit card number, and then finally by performing a checksum calculation.

Verification although, is a different story. Verification has to occur through a merchant account, or be manually processed. uShop provides several payment processing interfaces to the largest providers of merchant accounts (Cardservice International). You can find out more about payment processing interfaces here:
http://www.uburst.com/uShop/interfaces.html

Complete billing information is stored in .order files in your data directory in bar delimited files.

Hi Joseph,

Authorize.net now offers an additional safeguard when entering credit card information. Customers have the option of entering a 3-digit number that's on the back of credit cards right above the signature label. All credit cards issued since 1997 has this number.

"How does CVV2 work?
Merchants may request the CVV2 value from the customer when processing a card-not-present
transaction. The cardholder reads this code directly from the back of the credit card and enters it in
the appropriate field. Authorize.Net then verifies the CVV2 value during the authorization process
and relays the decline/approval results. By using the CVV2 program along with the Address
Verification Service (AVS), Merchants are able to make a more informed decision about whether to
accept a particular credit card transaction."

Do you guys have any plans to integrate this into Ushop in the future?

Hello Philip,

That is a very viable suggestion!
Would you consider reposting it to our Future Feature Wishlist forum for archival purposes? We take suggestions and recommendations for future releases of our products direct from the Future Feature Wishlist first and foremost.
