Just wondering what changes need to take place from a NT server to a windows 2000 server? Having problems checking out...it just hangs there after entering pers. info..

The uShop CGI scripts (for both versions 2.x and 3.x) are written in Perl.... So providing your server has a Perl interpretter, the scripts should work.

The only platform-specific element in the Perl scripts is related to the method used to send email. On UNIX servers, you must use "sendmail" or "sockets". On NT servers, you must use "sockets" or "blat".

If you are saying that the script now hangs, since changing to Windows 2000, then I would suggest going back to the basics like:

Do you successfully get the "uShop Copyright Page" (uShop 2.x) or the "uShop Login" (uShop 3.x) when going to the URL of the script on your server?

And then move on from there to determine what is actually happening.

See the "Troubleshooting" links on the uShop reference sites:

...for more information.
