"document.uShopJSI has no properties"

I am using your input example 3 to add products and after setting up the code to the best of my knowledge I get this error 'document.uShopJSI has no properties'. Either this error or it says Applet uShopJSI class uShop JSI could not be loaded.

Please help..I read almost everything thing I could find including making sure that the codebase path was the same for everything and I even changed the codebase path on the display_cart and the files.

To check my code I put a test.asp page up on my server. It can be reached at:

http://www.hififarm.com/test.asp

thanks ahead for the help

I took a look at your test page and it appears that the uShopJSI applet is not being loaded.

Looking at your code, I see the codebase setting of your applet is set to:

CODEBASE="http:www.hififarm.com/classes/"

I believe the missing // after the http: is causing the problem.... So try changing the codebase to:

CODEBASE="http://www.hififarm.com/classes/"

Geez...I guess I was staring at code too long. I can't believe I missed that.

Also, can you help me call my alert function...same page.

thanks ahead of time

No problem! Try adding a call to your "sub_alert" function to the very bottom of your "addPGC40" function:

function addPGC40()
{
document.uShopJSI.addProduct(
"PGC40",
"Piega C40",
"" + document.PGC40.finish.options[document.PGC40.finish.selectedIndex].value,
"0.1",
document.PGC40.quantity.value,
"$34,999",
"$0.00",
"$0.00",
"$0.00",
"YES");

// Display message after adding item.
sub_alert();
}
