Hi,

i have read about the following in another ushop
forum, but i dont find it again:
Its about the order_template.html:
It would be much more better if you implement in
a further ushop version the function of 2 order_templates - one for the customer-data input, and the other for the confirmation of the
inserted data. So i can customize the second
appearnce of the order_template.

with best regards

schwab ralf

I think the posting that you are referring to is this one:

http://www.uburst.com/dcforum/ushop_prog_tips/52.html

As mentioned there, we will possibly be adding additional configuration fields to the Control Panel so that you can specify different template.html files for each stage in the order process. In the mean time, you could try what is mentioned here:

http://www.uburst.com/dcforum/ushop_prog_tips/52.html#4

... which basically says that you can create two order forms now. That is, rename the first order form page to something like "order1_template.html"....and then configure this filename under the "Order Form Template" setting of the uShop Control Panel (GENERAL SETTINGS - ORDER FORM).

As for the second order form page (ie. the review/confirmation page)... at this time the file "order_template.html" will always be used. So make your "order_template.html" page be used as the review/confirmation page.

In summary:

STEP 1: Make two separate order templates:
order1_template.html
order_template.html

STEP 2: Under GENERAL SETTINGS - ORDER FORM, configure the "Order Form Template" as: order1_template.html. (This will be the first order page where the customer enters the billing/shipping information).

STEP 3: And the "order_template.html" page will automatically be used as the review/confirmation page.
