I'd like to see a servlet version of ushop.
Using applets has been causing all kinds of mysterious problems depending on the browser you are using.
Will this be a possibility in the future?

Thanks

Philip Ly

Probably not any time soon, however, there has been some significant improvements along those lines made to uShop 3.0 - due out on July 31, 2000. In particular, in uShop 3.0, we have:

1) Added the ability to write your own JavaScripts that can interface with uShop's Java Applets.

and

2) Moved from Java Order Applets to order forms that are just standard HTML and totally customizable (served up from the uShop CGI script).

This second feature in particular should eliminate the majority of "mysterious" Java problems.
