"Applet Requests"

Charlie,

I've noticed on the uShop forum many applet requests. Would it be possible for you to create a page which would list all of the special applets created (including documentation) and allow registered users to download them by entering their name and License number? uShop users have come up with some brilliant ideas for applets and we could use them on our sites if required. Maybe other registered users could comment on this posting also.

Cheers..

We are currently in the process of updating our uShop web pages to corresponde with our estimated July 31 release date of uShop 3.0. In version 3.0, there have been many changes (for the better, of course) to the applets and all changes/applets will be reflected in the updated uShop Applet Reference.

Also in uShop 3.0, by the way, we have included a programmer's guide that provides the necessary API/Instructions to allow developers to create their own Java Applets AND JavaScripts that can interface with uShop.

Cheers for that Charlie. I have another question though.... how difficult will it be for non-programmers to use the Applet Developers Kit? I have recently delved in Java programming and purchased Visual Cafe and other Java RAD/IDEs to assist me with the learning curve. I also obtained a java class decompiler to see just how the class files were written in java. If I'm not a programmer will I be able to use a template that you provide or will I have to work from scratch?

Respectfully,
