I think it would be better if instead of sending an email of the final order to the customer, it would be better to just display it to them, for printing.

Actually, from the uShop Control Panel -->General Settings --> Email Notifications you can specify **not** to email the customer the order notification, so this is already an optional feature in uShop.

Also, from the uShop Control Panel -->General Settings --> Miscellaneous you can specify the Receipt Page Footer HTML that can be added to your thank you page..which you can also customize and include special uShop tags to show the order total, subtotal, and order number. See the uShop User's Guide for more info on this:
