"Grey Boxes with IE 5"

Hello,

My customers are complaining about their IE 5 browser showing grey boxes on the secure order pages. I read one of your "fixes" from an earlier post, but I never had the "codebase=https..." just ../classes . I even get hung up using my IE 5, but not every time, and always on the order pages. What can I do since 50% of the people have IE 5?

David,

It sounds like you may have a classes problem. What messages do you see along the bottom of the browser when it tries to load?

As for your classes structure: you need to have all your classes on your un-secure server in the same folder. Reference them all exactly the same way in the with the codebase parameter. This will still allow your credit card transaction to be secure but have the applets load consistently.
