I believe I can show the person's who has booked the item in the schedule instead of the letter "r"

Your suggestions would be very grateful

ps OR an ability to print a report of the items booked in the week

Hello David,

Are you using uReserve 1.0 or the upgraded uReserve 2.0?
If 1.0, you can upgrade to 2.0 for free at-

http://www.uburst.com/uReserve/updates.html

Here are some instructions to modify version 2.0 such that the reserver's name is displayed on the schedule:

STEP 1: Make a backup of your current ureserve.pl script ... just in case.

STEP 2: Open your ureserve.pl script with any text editor such as WordPad.

STEP 3: Do a search on the following line:

$row_html .= "$reserve_char";

STEP 4: Replace that line with the following line:

$row_html .= $key_value_pairs[$data_index - 5];

STEP 5: Save the file (as TEXT if your editor asks) ... and try it out.

NOTE: Showing the user's name in the schedule display may cause some cells
to grow very large, so he may want to consider the option of using just a
reservation icon (a standard option in uReserve 2.0)... and then show the
user's name via the image "ALT".... as described in this posting:

http://www.uburst.com/dcforum/uReserve_config/7.html

Hope this helps.
