"uSignIn datafile corruptions"
Posted by Laurel Hickey on Sep-26-00 at 05:51 PM (EST)
Hi ... I'm getting some questions from my client who uses the uSignIn on their Intranet. On rare occasions, it says it can't open the database and nothing works but to upload the original database and reenter all the names, etc. I've asked them for more information ... but is there a known issue with datafiles getting corrupted? It's been operating for about a year and nothing went wrong for the first six months and then this has been happening off and on.

There are no known issues with this problem. The best thing to do is to have them email a copy of the usignin.csv database file to support when this happens again. This will give us a better clue as to what is happening. In the meantime, I believe they can download the free upgrade to usignin v1.1.
