""popup" BUY incentive/suggestive selling"

Posted by Joyce Meyer [webmaster@mycottage.com] on at 04:21 PM
I've already set up one Shop with uShop and I'm constructing another. Many of the INPUT applets have a parameter "popup" and it can be set to YES or NO. I've always left this "as is" in the past but would now like to have a selected message(s) popup reminding buyers about other items that we sell that they might wish to add-on. But so far, I haven't come across anything in the tutorial or manual about using this applet parameter "popup."

I have various popup scripts available but I'm not sure how to incorporate this.

How about Tips - Ideas - location of documentation ?

Can I have a popup1.html, popup2.html, etc? Can I even place an input applet right in the suggestive selling popup?

...and IF this isn't what the popup parameter is about, then it sure is something that should be considered for future versions!

Hello Joyce,

The popup option text is an applet alert window, to inform the customer that an item has indeed been added to the shopping cart. At this time, its customizability is rather limited, but that has most definitely been added to the Future Feature Wishlist.
