"Affiliate info"

I currently am using 2.0 and have modified my site to build a cookie using ?source instead of ?id

Where can I change this so the 100+ associates I have won't have to change their links?

How can I pass this onto the customers order so I can enter it into our billing system so they get credit for all future orders whether they come from the affiliates site of not?

uShop 2.0 did not have an affiliate tracking feature... so I'm not really sure what you doing with the "?source" and the "?id".

And if you're looking for a way to read a cookie that you are setting with the uShop 2.x scripts and add that information to the order file... that get's rather involved... So I would just recommend updating to uShop 3.x ... which does have the affiliate tracking feature built-in.

I did the cookie outside 2.0 using ?source to set the cookie. I know 3.0 uses ?id to set the cookie containing the affiliate. I'd like to change the ushop.pl to use "source" where it uses "id" and somehow place the affiliate's id on the ushop 3.0 order form that comes to us.

I'm not *entirely* sure that can actually be done. But I will look into it.

I'm a little confused. Are you using uShop 2.0 or uShop 3.0?

Version 3.0. If fixed it myself by modifying the code in the html page using javascript to write the line assigning a value to billing_extra3 from a cookie set upon entering my home page. I would like to assign my associate ID coming in at http://www.antiquesupply.com/?source=xxxxxx to your http://www.antiquesupply.com/ushop.pl?id=xxxxx so I can use your affiliate program without having my 200+ associates change their links.
