What is the maximum amount of resources you can add, I see the demo has 5 resources.
Technically, there is no limit to the number of resources that can be managed by uReserve. The only limitation is the amount of time you are willing to allow for your web pages to load and the total length that you want to allow your schedule pages to be. That is, the more resources that you have, the longer the weekly schedule page will take to load and the longer the whole schedule page will be (so users might have to scroll down to see the very bottom). The recommended number of resources is under 20 different resources per installed copy of uReserve. (So if you have 20 conference rooms and 20 computer labs.... then you may just want to install 2 separate copies of uReserve - one for each type of resource).
Thank you for answering my question, your answer falls in line with what I want to do.
I am setting up a small agency for people, and part time services, Handymen, window cleaners, and such like.
If I had a resource say window cleaners, I would like to have say 20-30 names to book times for.
Can I configure these resource times for different people (fields) ie: some people afternoons and others mornings and only show those times?
I take your point about loading times, so could I show only one day at a time that is requested, and have say 30 or more fields ( people ) showing before going over to more copies of uReserve?
I agree with R LeGris with a future wish list for requests to be confirmed, I can get over this as you suggested, but a future version ......?
I think this software is for me, I am not a programmer, but have modified perl in the past with some success! but not sure if this programme can be modified in this way? But there does'nt seem to any other programme as good as this one.
In regard to limiting the reservation times for each resource (person) to some in the afternoon and some in the morning... Unfortunately, that can't be done without manually "blacking out" the invalid times for each resource. You may want to just consider setting up multiple copies of uReserve.... either one copy for each resource (in which case you can configure the starting/stopping times according)... or one copy for "morning" resources and one copy for "afternoon" resources.
In regard displaying only one day on the schedule at a time... unfortunately, at this time, you can't configure uReserve to only display one day at a time. The schedule display is always per week (7 days).
